Game world series two
Aaron Nola settled down after allowing Kyle Tucker’s three-run home run, getting Yuli Gurriel and Trey Mancini to ground out to end the third inning. He’s allowed five runs on six hits and walked two, and is at 64 pitches. thermopresses on sportswear The five-run deficit is the largest one the Phillies have faced this postseason.
Amen to that. To live up to a working week’s worth of hype is no small feat. But the Dodgers and Yankees — the No. 1 seeds in the National and American Leagues who are clashing in the Fall Classic for the first time in 43 years — played a Game 1 very much worth the wait.
10:43 p.m. — Shohei Ohtani now represents the tying run on third base. His first World Series hit is a double off the right field wall, but Volpe bobbles the ball as it reaches the infield. Ohtani sprints to claim an extra bag.
This became the third consecutive World Series Game 1 to go to extra innings, and, thanks to Jazz Chisholm Jr.’s single and two stolen bases, the Yankees had runners on the corners with one out in the 10th. When Anthony Volpe grounded to short, Edman made a nice diving stop on the ball but had trouble with the transfer and couldn’t complete a potential double play. Chisholm motored home.
Open world zombie game
Explore to find out more: There are many Easter Eggs hidden throughout Operation Deadbolt. Take your time and explore. Most missions don’t require you to survive in order to complete them, so why not risk it and search for more cool stuff?
The Evil Within 2 starts off in a city that is full of exploration. It’s kind of like a more open version of Resident Evil 3, although the tone is a little different. After about the halfway mark, the game does start to get a lot more linear, however, so players should keep that in mind.
Although Night of the Dead does have some open-world sections, these are typically used for resource gathering rather than exploration. Without these vital resources, however, players would struggle to build up their defenses and would likely be overrun by zombies pretty quickly as a result.

World series 2024 game 2
For the 27th consecutive year, ESPN Radio broadcast the series in the United States. Jon Sciambi did play-by-play, while Jessica Mendoza (who was part of the Dodgers’ television crew on Spectrum SportsNet LA during the regular season) and Eduardo Pérez provided color commentary and Buster Olney reported from the field. TUDN Radio broadcast the series in Spanish.
Although Ohtani could not pitch in 2024 due to elbow surgery, he was tremendously successful as a batter and baserunner. Playing at designated hitter, Ohtani became the first player in MLB history to break the 50 home runs, 50 stolen bases barrier in a single season. He also surpassed Shawn Green’s Dodgers single-season home run record with 54 home runs. At the All-Star Game, the Dodgers sent six players—Ohtani, Betts, Hernández, Glasnow, Freddie Freeman, and Will Smith. At the trade deadline, the Dodgers added starting pitcher Jack Flaherty, set-up reliever Michael Kopech, and utility player Tommy Edman; Edman won the NLCS MVP Award after recording 11 runs batted in (RBIs) in the series.
For Freddie Freeman’s Game 1 walk-off grand slam, Fox broadcaster Joe Davis’ call of “…she is gone!” echoed that of legendary Dodgers and then-NBC broadcaster Vin Scully for Kirk Gibson’s Game 1 walk-off home run in the 1988 World Series; and Davis also added, “Gibby, meet Freddie!”.
Old world game
Throughout my time with Old World I kept coming across things that made me think “Why the heck hasn’t Civ done this?” It has solutions to so many 4X niggles that have been around for ages. Take research, for instance. When you choose your next research project, the game produces a few offerings from a deck made up of all the stuff you’re ready to discover. So instead of picking from the same list over and over again, it’s slightly randomised, and alongside new techs are bonus cards that give you free gifts, like an extra unit or a big pile of resources. If you’re in the middle of a war, do you really care about unlocking the magical power of mills? Instead, you can spend a turn or two on getting a free spearman, which will be much more useful in the moment.
With over 1,000 unique events, the strategy game weaves together a narrative experience based on intricate diplomacy systems and influence schemes. You play as one of seven different cultures, represented by a singular leader and their family, with other important families acting as stakeholders in your growing civilisation. Players must expand their territory and secure their legacy by earning the most points within 200 turns. Along the way, they can also attempt to complete Ambitions – challenging tasks that add Legitimacy and provide alternate victory paths.
This all contributes to a sense that you are truly shaping your own civilisation, and in ways that go beyond changing some stats. Slavery, for instance, crops up in both Old World and Civilization, but how it impacts both games is quite different. In Civ 4, for instance, it lets you sacrifice part of your population to rush a construction project. In Old World, however, it becomes a topic that’s up for debate. You might find that your people have come to their senses and want to abolish it, encouraging you to toss out the grotesque institution.
The Lords of Bretonnia are renowned warriors, a select few of whom are blessed with the honour of riding a Royal Pegasus into battle. Each of these steeds is said to be descended from Glorfinial, the steed of Agilgar, first Duke of Parravon. These noblemen are armed with hand weapons and heavy armour. The Royal Pegasus’ on which they ride to battle are monstrous cavalry mounts with iron-shod hooves capable of trampling foes to dust.
In Civilization games, your relationships with undying faction leaders can feel arbitrary. Crusader Kings, meanwhile, has incredibly complex statistics governing every relationship and conversation in the game, but rarely does it feel like genuine, tangible results come of your interactions with people, because so many of that game’s diplomatic actions are locked behind slower, sometimes immovable systems.
