Ohtani, the Dodgers’ record-setting $700 million signing and baseball’s first 50-homer, 50-steal player, went 2 for 19 with no RBIs and had one single after separating his left shoulder during a stolen base attempt in Game 2. Ohtani went through the clubhouse pouring champagne on teammates and having it sprayed on him
Star wars open world game
Star Wars Outlaws is billed as the franchise’s first-ever open-world game. From the makers of The Division and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Outlaws tells a scoundrel story that explores the depths of Star Wars’ underworld between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.
Coupled with this is the game’s dynamic crime Syndicate system, which is a great idea on paper but just doesn’t pan out. Kay has a “reputation” with the game’s four main syndicates: the Pykes, Crimson Dawn, Hutt Cartel, and Ashiga Clan. Decisions you make in story and side quests can change your reputation, as can actions like stealing from their territory or shooting their members. A bad reputation means a syndicate will actively work against Kay, you won’t be welcome in their territory, and they’ll even send out hit squads if your reputation is bad enough. A good reputation means you can move freely inside their territory, pick up special contacts, access merchants, and more.
The more time I spent with Kay and Nix, exploring the underworld, the more I grew to love Star Wars Outlaws. Ubisoft has created an experience that grows richer and better the more time you put into it, but there’s always the nagging detractor of the game’s problems. The generic stealth missions constantly drag down the pacing, the syndicate system feels lackluster, and there’s a handful of bugs that I ran into along the way.

Game 4 world series
It was surprising to see Hudson come unglued. He’s been so steady out of the Dodgers bullpen. He just didn’t seem to have it in Game 4. After throwing six sliders to strike out Juan Soto leading off the third inning, Hudson, on consecutive first-pitch fastballs, drilled Aaron Judge and gave up a scorched single to Jazz Chisholm Jr. He got ahead of Giancarlo Stanton, then walked him. After Anthony Rizzo popped out, in stepped Anthony Volpe. Two outs. Bases juiced. Hudson’s first offering was a low-and-in slider that caught too much of the zone. Volpe smoked it, and the Dodgers suddenly were chasing from behind in a bullpen game.
On whether that was as aggressive as he’s seen fans get: “It doesn’t matter. We lost, it’s irrelevant, I’m fine, he’s fine, everything’s cool. We lost the game, that’s what I’m kind of focused on, turn the page.
Who else stepped up as New York extended this series, and will it go back to L.A.? We’ve got it all covered, from live updates and analysis during the game to takeaways after the final pitch to what’s next for each team.
College world series game 3
Sechrist and Lamkin both pitched Wednesday, meaning they will be on short rest. But Sechrist threw 76 pitches and Lamkin threw 70 and neither team will be shy about going to the bullpen. The rest factor likely will not play a significant role Monday.
Mathewson was still the Giants’ ace in 1911, and McGraw and Connie Mack were still the managers of their respective teams. But the Giants had not returned to the World Series since 1905 while the Athletics had defeated the Cubs in five games in 1910.
The two teams have faced each other in 11 World Series, more than any other teams. When the Dodgers were Brooklyn-based, the Yankees had a commanding 6-1 edge in World Series matchups. Since the Dodgers moved to Hollywood in the late 50s, the teams are even at two a piece. They last met in 1981.
A win today would put ORU in baseball’s version of the Final Four, which would be the first time in school history! Of course, TCU would like to get some revenge after watching game 1 slip through their fingers. The Eagles need to get off to a better start and not have to always come back from being down 3-4 runs. God bless ORU today!
March Madness may have popularized the Cinderella run, but Fresno State’s magical championship in 2008 went down in history with the best college underdog stories. Fresno outlasted Georgia 19-10 in an outrageous Game 2 before taking Game 3, setting the record for most losses by a national champion (31) by refusing to quit when it mattered most.
