Scott pilgrim vs the world game
If Gil, with the whole world watching, has a bad night, the Yankees’ season is going to be over. And he’s, of course, facing a team that has been on an absolute heater at the plate and will wait him out if he can’t find the zone https://tonytccoleman.com/how-does-music-affect-society/. Good luck, kid.

Take it from someone who attended every single game in the Bronx during the 2009 World Series: Yankee Stadium is usually a lot louder than this. There were occasional moments Monday night when Yankees fans got going a little bit, but after Freeman’s first-inning home run, there was a clear lid on the place they were never able to blast through. That’ll happen when your team doesn’t score a run until the ninth inning and your superstar, your beloved MVP, goes 0-for-3 again. (It is becoming actively painful to watch those slow-motion closeups of Aaron Judge’s face after his at-bats.)
You can understand why Yankees manager Aaron Boone might have considered pitching Gerrit Cole in Game 4 on short rest. He was, after all, fantastic in Game 1, throwing six innings and giving up just one run. (He even only threw 88 pitches.) It must have been tempting. But even facing elimination, you can see why he would go with a fully rested Gil. The history of pitchers going on short rest isn’t great, and if the Yankees are going to get this series back to Los Angeles, they’re going to need to win a theoretical Game 5 (started by a fully rested Cole) anyway. (Plus, as Boone noted, it’s a lot to ask of Cole after an injury-plagued season.)
NEW YORK — The New York Yankees have lived to play another day. Thanks to Anthony Volpe’s grand slam, the Yankees beat the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 4 of the World Series on Tuesday night (NY 11, LA 4), forcing a Game 5. The Dodgers still lead the series 3-1, but the Yankees have a pulse, and they’ll send Gerrit Cole to the mound on Wednesday.
Game of thrones world map
Each kingdom is defined not only by its ruling family but also by its geography, with rivers, mountains, and coasts shaping the lives and politics of the inhabitants. A visual breakdown of the Seven Kingdoms helps fans follow the allegiances, conflicts, and wars that define the series.
I had the privilege of creating the first ever official map of the whole world, as well as maps of cities and details of regions never before seen on maps, or even described in the books. In the run up to Season 3 of Game of Thrones I’ll be posting low res images from the maps I created, along with some discussion of the work behind creating the maps for a project of this size. To get hold of the high resolution versions, you can pick up the full set of posters.

Braavos is also home to Arya Stark for much of her journey, as she trains with the Faceless Men in the House of Black and White. The city’s canals and water-based culture give it a distinctive feel, and its influence reaches far across both Westeros and Essos.
Unfortunately these are the only ones that will appear on the internet. They’re © George RR Martin, and this resolution is the largest that will be permitted. To see the full size images, you’ll need to pick up the physical maps – I can guarantee the text is readable on those! The maps can be picked up at Amazon for $2 a map.
Star wars open world game
Lucasfilm proposed the time gap between The Empire Strikes Back (1980) and Return of the Jedi (1983) as the setting for Outlaws. This period was deemed a “perfect starting point” as it allowed the story to shift away from the Rebel Alliance and instead focus on the criminal underworld, a subject not deeply explored in the franchise before. In the early stages of development, Massive compiled a list of planets for the game, including established Star Wars planets like Kijimi and new locations like Toshara, which was inspired by African savannas, particularly those of Tanzania. Despite the challenges presented by the existing Star Wars material about the planet, the team also decided to incorporate Tatooine. They relied on Dorling Kindersley’s Star Wars visual guides to recreate the city of Mos Eisley and the planet’s distinctive dunes and canyons.
The planets in Outlaws will adhere to Lucasfilm’s “80/20” rule of location design: 80% familiar, 20% alien or fantastical. Gerighty explained how Massive designed its version of Tatooine around this philosophy: “We start off with a biome, in this case, southeast African biomes as an inspiration, and then you put a twist on it to make it feel a little bit alien. If you think of the first shots, maybe not the first shots, but the first the shots of Tatooine. Beautiful, recognizable architecture, but two suns. For us, it’s having this huge mountain, and carved into it into the amberine of the mountain, the crystalline substance is a city, and these outcroppings of orange, very reflective material. That’s what brings the really alien nature to it. Familiar but fresh.”
In April 2024, two special editions were announced. Both editions include a season pass featuring a bonus story mission, cosmetics, and future story expansions, with one edition offering an additional cosmetics. Pre-orders for the editions, priced at $110 and $130 respectively, launched simultaneously, offering vehicle cosmetics and granting early access to the game several days before its official release. The pricing and content of these editions drew criticism from some members of the gaming community.
