Amidst the numerous conflicts unfolding in 2024, the pressing question on everyone’s mind is: What countries will be in World War 3? This concern deepens as new developments, such as Poland’s Prime Minister Donald Tusk warning of a ‘real risk of global conflict,’ amplify fears of escalation. Arab and Muslim leaders have convened in Riyadh, calling for a ceasefire in Gaza and raising questions about the future of regional stability. Amidst these global concerns, Donald Trump’s victory in the 2024 U.S. election adds a significant layer of uncertainty for 2025, with America’s foreign policy and international alliances now facing potential shifts under his leadership during this pivotal moment in history.
In late 2024, the Arctic emerged as a key geopolitical flashpoint, with Russia and China expanding their icebreaker fleets to assert dominance in this resource-rich region. This has prompted NATO discussions on securing Arctic trade routes, further intensifying global rivalries. The convergence of these regional conflicts and broader global trends creates a volatile environment where the risk of a global war, potentially World War III, is increasingly plausible.

Hasbro Inc. and The New York Times — which purchased Wordle earlier this year — announced Thursday that Wordle: The Party Game will be available for purchase in North America in October, with preorders already being accepted.
Worldle is a game inspired by the popular Wordle game, only it tests your knowledge of geography. The rules of the game are similar to Wordle, but there are some differences: You have an unlimited number of guesses and you only have the distance / direction of the mystery country in the clues. This game is great for kids as an assistant in school or college, as well as for adults to remember the maps of countries around the world.

Wordle officially launched in October 2021, but actually started in June of that year and celebrated its first birthday on June 19, 2022. (You can read my thoughts on the 5 things Wordle needs to improve if it’s to keep us playing on into a fourth and fifth year.)
The rules of the game are very simple: You have to guess the country by its shape and you have an unlimited number of guesses to do it. To start the game, you need to enter the name of any country in the search form and make the first guess, then look at the hints – the distance and direction to the target country. The shorter the distance, the closer you are. As soon as you correctly guess the country, it will be highlighted in green.
The world’s hardest game
Choose from any of the early Contra games and see what we mean. We hated it, but we grew to love it and crave its approval. Contra is certainly one of the hardest games ever made. It set the tone in terms of raw difficulty and remains hard as nails to this day. Those who get stressed easily should avoid it at all costs. However, if you fancy a real challenge, set aside some time for this one.
We talked about finding areas on the map where blue balls don’t reach. This is a valuable strategy, but there are some levels that actually have designated checkpoints. These checkpoints allow you to restart at them once you die instead of having to start the level over from the beginning. Not only do they save your progress, but they also offer you a chance to catch your breath and figure out how to solve the next portion of the level.
Want to feel like the most incompetent leader of all time? Then, “Darkest Dungeon” is perfect for you! A turn-based RPG with leveling up, status effects, and team-building, “Darkest Dungeon’s” unique difficulty stems from the fact that permadeath is a thing. Rather than a fixed party, adventurers can be hired to explore maze-like maps filled with poisonous, fear-inducing, and just plain disturbing monsters. The characters are also susceptible to paranoia and sickness, so preserving the team’s morale becomes a crucial and often futile task. In later levels, enemies can feel downright unfair, especially when yet another character with dozens of hours of investment bites the dust.
